You can make this with cheesy rice with homemade fresh paneer/chhena or you can grate the paneer available in the market to make this spicy rice.
You can add vegetable of your choice like peas, carrots and beans.
The ingredients that you need for making Creamy Cheese Rice are :
- Rice- 250 Gm
- Cheese grated -125 gm
- Vegetables as per your choice finely chopped
- Chili , garlic and ginger finely crushed
- Turmeric ,coriander and cumin powder- 1 teaspoon each
- Lemon Juice- 1 teaspoon
Pressure Cook Rice , add refined oil and salt in water.
Let the rice cool down
In a skillet put cumin seeds, ginger garlic and chili
When the onion becomes light pink add the dry spices and let it cook for 1 minute
Add tomatoes and salt
Let this cook for 5 minutes, when the mixture starts leaving the pan add grated cheese into this.
Cook it for 5 minutes, Add Rice and Mix well
Add cream – 2 teaspoon and mix well
Cover with Lid for 5 minutes and before you serve this pour lemon juice on top.
Serve with Raita,Gravy or you can eat this your favorite salad.
