Double Layered Paratha

Get the taste of Two Paratha in One !

It’s a heavy one  with layers of butter inside which makes it soft and off course yummy !

So here goes the photostory for making this layered paratha/flatbread.

I have the dough prepared – I have used here wheatflour dough (Rest the dough for 10 minutes before you use it)

Now make small round balls from this dough.Roll  two small roti like this.

Now apply melted butter or ghee or refined oil over both the round roti and stick both these roti’s together. Now you have one roti again !!

Apply ghee/melted butter over the this one modified roti and form a triangle out of this.

Apply some carom seeds over this and roll this into medium size paratha

Cook it on tawa flipping both the sides and by greasing it with ghee on both the side.

You can as many paratha you want using the same process, first one may be tricky but I am sure the second and third will be easy for you to make 🙂

I generally side this with curry or spicy choley.

This is different from the normal paratha with one layer .
